I have stayed in this motel twice in two years while visiting my son at college. I have found it to be quiet and secure if not fancy. My room was clean. I asked for and received a non smoking room, maybe that was the difference. I will stay at this Motel again.
I recently attempted to stay near downtown Albany in order to make the VERY early morning trip into the city easier the next day. I looked online quickly and booked the cheapest place I could find within 5 miles of Albany, foolishly not looking at other customer reviews. This mistake would prove fatal. This property is one of the worst locations ...
My stay in Oct. 2006 was not as bad as some have reported. The room was clean, and housekeeping seemed ok. The check in clerk was helpful and pleasant, the man at desk at checkout, less so.At $55.00 a night I was happy.
Do yourself a favor and NEVER stay at a Red Carpet Inn - the bathroom was disgusting, I refused to even get in the shower for fear that whatever was on the walls of the shower would end up on ME. The bed was so awful I woke up with a bad backache and ended up having to go to a chiropractor a few days later. The room was not clean and had a ...
Well, what can u except for $60 per night? No bathroom fan, so i could not shave after shower, toilet do not work properly. I wonder if the area is safe. I hve seen worse places. Only hate to see spots on my pillow cases.
This place was disgusting! Filthy, dirty, smelly, rooms. I would rather sleep in my car or a tent. The health department should shut them down. I will never stay at a Red Carpet again. Pigs!
You could not get me to stay in another Red Carpet room even if it was free. The room smelled completely disgusting. We had to leave the door open most of the time to air it out. The bathroom was completely gross. We didn't dare get in the shower or even step foot on the floor in barefeet. We certainly were not going to trust the linen sitting ...
I expected a microwave, fridge, coffee maker and other ammenities I saw advertised. The guest service was good but the neighborhood was bad, the bathroom was terrible, the worst shower I've ever used, no ironing board and iron. The room had an unpleasant odor. Not a good choice by my. I learned my lesson.
The room was a filthy, stinking pit. It smelled like cigarettes, it was dirty. We were afraid to touch anything especially the bathroom. I didn't even want to walk barefoot on the floor. It was a horrible experience! And I won't ever stay at a Red Carpet Inn anywhere again!!! Gross!
