We have stayed here 3 times now and opt to stay here vs any place else. It's out of the way. The pool is awesome! We love being away from it all and it's very quiet. Yeah, the rooms could stand some updating, but the folks that run the place are extremely nice! We're not picky - we LOVE the doughnuts!

The room was filthy ! Nothing in the room has been updated in atleast 35 years. The dust was so thick on the draperies you could barely see the true color of them. I had to beg the Amish man to let me have a pliers so I can adjust the air conditioner in my room since it had no knobs on it. I also had to stand on a chair to do it since it was so ...

we went there in november of 2007 and the room smelled so bad we had to go and buy candles and room freshener and still couldn't get rid of the smell. We made reservation because the picture seemed like a nice place but you can be sure we will never go thee again. So don't be fooled by the picture as we were. They need to have a major over haul of there rooms to be becoming close to clean.

The location is convenient to beautiful Amish farmlands but the quality is pretty poor. The room decorations really are shabby and not well maintained. The wallpaper was falling off the wall. If you are looking for a basic place to sleep, this is the place. Rooms are clean, but I don't believe they have been updated since the 60's. No frig, micro or hair dryers. Breakfast was donuts - and I don't believe they were even Amish made. We felt safe sleeping with our windows open listening to the clip-clop of horses, so that's a plus.

While the price may be a little high, since there aren't refrigerators or microwave, it is very clean, quiet, and the staff is very friendly.
