The Corinithia Atlantic Hotel is the only place for us to stay in The Gambia, mainly because of our sponsorship links through the charity "pageant". We have visited many times and each time it is like going home. The staff are so welcoming and helpful and cannot do enough to make our stay wonderful.
We look forward to our next visit

Having spent two nights in October at the Atlantic Hotel as an individual traveler, I cannot recommend it. There are better hotels near Banjul (e.g. Sunbeach Hotel & Resort in Bakau) that can provide a superior quality, better-value alternative.

The Staff are really kind and fun to the children. There are shows every night by the entertainment staff and it is on a beach. For the adults ther is aqua arobics in the high class swimming pool. Also there is a resturant in the hotel and a bar beside. I deffinately reccomend this hotel if you want your children and yourself to have a good time.

I spent half my trip in Banjul at the Corinthia Atlantic. This was the one hotel where you were not constantly harrassed by bumsters. The staff were more than pleasant & sincerely happy to see someone from the U.S. (not many Americans make the trek).

would highly recommend this hotel, the staff are extreamly friendly and always happy to help. great if you want to chill out for a week and have fantastic weather guaranteed. take cash with you as it takes 3 months for cards (credit) to be processed. would visit again
