Quintessence of SwitzerlandThis was our first trip to Switzerland. If you picture what Switzerland is in your minds, you would picture this hotel and the area around it.

Wonderful vacation!There was nothing bad about this hotel. It was absolutely clean - spotless. Very comfortable rooms. Staff/owners very friendly. Food excellent. Location was beautiful - just a short bus trip into Interlaken or you could walk or ride a bike. So beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommended!You have found this review helpful.7 of 9 Yahoo! Room with a view!An excellent hotel with extraordinary views of Lake Brienz and surrounding mountains. Easy to get to from Interlaken by bus or steamer. Hotel is spotless, rooms are large, balconies very nice. Can watch steamers all day as a stop is very close to hotel. The staff is multi-lingual and very helpful.
