We booked with this motel because it is about 3/4 mile away from the Cumbres and Toltec Railway and I had stayed there once before when I was younger, and now I was taking my family on the trip.

The rate was affordable and fair. Our room was comfortable, clean and smelled fresh. The owner and staff were cheerful and pleasant to talk to.

We will book again as we take other family members or friends on weekend adventures to ride the train.

Advertised rates not honored. Yahoo published a rate of $69, but when I called to book a room, they said that their rooms started at $94 for a single. They do not honor AAA or any other membership.
