This summer we will host our 3rd family reunion at Big Cedar. It is centrally located for our large family. The different room types fits everyone's budget. From 75 years old to 2 years old - there is something for everyone. It is alittle pricey but you get what you pay for!!

Great place for quality family time
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/01/07
We loved the family cabin we stayed in with our four kids. The kitchen was used many times to avoid the price of meals at the restaurants at Big Cedar. Loved the beauty of the entire resort. So many things to do, we didn't get to do everything, even with a 5 night stay. Overall, the cost was high, but we had a really nice time, away from ...

EXCELLENT TIME!

This place is a great place to go and visit. We took our 3 kids, ages 7 to 13 and they loved it as well. The service is top of the class, and the idea of having a shuttle right there within minutes is brilliant. Otherwise the walks could be long. We stayed in the family cabin and it was so clean, great fireplace, great bathrooms, and great ...

We loved Big Cedar! We will be going back. Fresh baked cookies on the nightstand, outstanding view and the Buzzard Bar with the singing cowboy is my personal favorite . Great place to get away. Plenty to do without going into Branson. Very family friendly. Loved It

MY WIFE AND I HAVE STAYED IN MANY RESORTS ALL OVERTHE COUNTRY OVER A 33 YEAR PERIOD AND VOTE BIG CEDAR TOPS. IT DELIVERS IN ALL CATEGORIES AND EACH TIME WE LEAVE, WE'RE PLANNING OUR NEXT JUNKET.
Just outside busy little branson on table rock lake, this lodge has great quiet hotel type rooms or log cabins that are fully stocked with everything you need for a great getaway in the wilderness. See my blog for vacation activities and details.

We had a great, great time!

Wow, what a wonderful place to visit, so much so that we actually just bought a vacation timeshare there so I expect to take vacations every year now. After 30 years of working and not taking vacations, Big Cedar Lodge changed that forever! A great place to relax and be in the outdoors. Can't wait to see those big bass again!

We visit 3-4 times a year.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/17/06
Our first visit to Big Cedar was in 1999. We have gone back every year since and usually visit at least 3-4 times a year. We have stayed at the resort in every season including several holidays, enjoyed ourselves every time, and never had a bad experience. At least once during each stay we visit Buzzard's Bar to hear Clay sing. The ...
My husband and I stay at Big Cedar every year on our anniversary. It is a great place to just get a way. This year we are planning a vacation here with our children before our anniversary. I know they will love it as much as we do. The breakfast buffet is wonderful at the Devil's Pool and we enjoy going to the Buzzard's Bar late in the evening for a snack.
We enjoyed our week-end at Big Cedar Lodge very much. We stayed in a duplex type cabin. It was rustic with great paneling and had a rock fireplace we certainly enjoyed.Bathroom was a pretty tight fit with a tiny shower. Not much to do in the winter since we don't fish. Cute miniature golf course, very pricey gift shop, dock we walked down to. We ...
