The rooms is dirty and substandard to human. I'm disapointed with Trafagar Tour. I'll not stay at that Hotel ever again. I was so happy to get out of that place.

If you read down through the reviews of the hotel you will be struck by the wide variance of opinions. There is a very good reason for this that you should be aware of before staying there.

The following is excerpts from my letter to the hotel after returning home. It describes in detail our horrible experience with the Ergife Hotel booked through Trafalgar Tours. I will try to post some of my pictures.

I was with the Trafalgar tours from London to Rome and I must say that this was a very nice hotel. All of them were with the exception of the Steghof in Lucerne (not a bad hotel but not good either). I was afraid to see this hotel after reading all the negative reviews but was so pleasantly surprised. Everyone was very nice and the bar and pool lovely. I would stay again.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel from the 26th of June to 17th of July 2007. Was undergoing rennovations, and our room wasn't in the new part of the hotel. The first room we got smelled moldy, but after we switched rooms it was fine and the huge pool looked very nice. Hotel was in the suburbs of Rome, but not too far from a train.

This hotel is definatly not a 4 star hotel. The pictures on the web site are not very accurate. the loby and pool are stunning but the rooms are ridiculas! very old, small and shabby and the air-conditioning only works for a couple of hours a day. the wallpaper was also comming off the walls. the staff are extremely un-welcoming and not helpful at ...

Cost - good
