You get what you pay for$35 night outdated is not the word if you like feeling unsafe this is the place for you It was the creepiest place i have ever stayed at. Would never recommend to anybody.

I think if you are going to syracus new york on a tight budget.The John milton Inn is a great cheap hotel I have a one year old daughter and the room is very clean the housekeepers a very nice stayed in the hotel for a week and they helped out alot by bringing me things when I needed them the front desk staff was great could not have been more ...

desk clerk was friendly and inviting. location is great right off the thru way, but the room we rented was not so nice. very dirty, bed sagged in middle and very little respect from housekeepers.
will never go back nor will i reccommend this place to anyone, not even an enemy.

I can't complain too much about a place I only paid US$35 for. The rooms were basic, but clean. Some of the blankets smelled funky. The service was unexceptional (we were billed extra for our room, and it took a very long tim e to resolve). A fight broke out in front of the hotel the night we stayed, which provided some free entertainment. ...

John the "manager" at desk is a rude and impolite individual. The hotel is dirty, the housekeeping non-existent. If you don't mind dirty places, with a rude staff and going to a motel that appears to be designed for local prostitution and parties this is your place. If you hope to survive without catching something from the filth I'd look elsewhere!

Can't beet the price. They did not mind our pet igguanna. The office is always open and ready to help. Dunkin Donuts is right there. I spent more there then on the room. You need a place to bed down then this is the place. The room was comfortable and we controlled our own heat.

I was very nervous about staying here after reading some of the reviews...but... the whole area was booked up and another motel contacted the john milton and we got a room. The room was very clean, the staff was more than friendly and accomodating. I don't know where those other people stayed but it wasn't the inn I stayed in. I would and am going to stay there again

It's one of the cheapest places around & basically a nice way to say it is it's definatley not fancy by far! but I can say it's not the worst place I've been to either thank god I didn't see any bugs!
