Sandusky needs better hotels in the tourist area bad!! my friends and i went to about 8 hotels (checkin the rooms 1st) and they were all simply "a mess". got to the laquinta and it was VERY nice. clean, room smelled good,continental breakfast was the best ive ever seen(HUGE variety), and the bed linens were white as snow with a modern quilt on the bed. very nice,just like the hilton for the same price!

I stayed here a while back and it was a prime location for Cedar Point and the fron desk guy gave great directions and was really nice. My family and I always come to Cedar Point once a year and next year we will be staying here again.

I made reservations online but when I got there it was not up to La Quinta standards. What disturbs me is that this facility is listed as a new facility online for the Midwest region even to go as far as being classified as a class C location. I tried 3 rooms but none were clean or in proper repair. I will not go back there.

Our room had paper thin walls, we could hear normal conversation in the next room. The kicker was hearing their alarm clock go off at 5:30 Sat am. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Absolutely hated this place. For starters, there were no towels in the room and had to wait several hours. Neither the in-room spa nor the fireplace worked. The a/c hardly worked...very humid in room. Shower fan way too loud. Toilet ran intermittently when flushed. The continental breakfast was one of the worst ever.

The hotel staff was genuinly very nice, room was very clean I could not find anything wrong, enjoyed the breakfast very much and high speed internet.
