Early last month my girl friend and I went to this B&B. It was our first experience with traveling to vermont and B&Bs in general, but we were very impressed. First, if you can, RENT A CABIN! They are beautiful, and the perfect size - plus are away from the main house, and give you a sense of your own place

This place was recommended by friends four years ago and we have stayed there three times since. Great hosts, comfortable beds, delicious breakfasts, quiet country location surrounded by trees, and located far back from the road. We just went snow shoeing for the first time on their trails through the forest and had a great time. Off the beaten path but well worth finding.

We loved staying at the Grunberg Haus B&B. Breakfasts were great. Rooms were clean and comfortable for our family. Innkeepers were very friendly and helpful. There was lots to do within 30 minute drive. Lots of daytrip options to Stowe, Burlington, etc. The alpine slide is a great destination for families. We loved walking in the woods, relaxing by the fire, and seeing so much of what Vermont has to offer. We will go back.
