I'm here on business, so value doesn't really matter to me, but I probably wouldn't pay so much on my own. Nice place, though.

They have done a decent job remodeling the rooms. Nice updated look. It's hard to find an updated hotel room in LA at this price. Would definetely recommend. We have stayed at nearby hotels for the same price and they have been pretty ugly! Service was friendly also.

The hotel's location it is centrally located and close to all landmarks and beaches we visited, which was great as we did not have a vehicle. We travelled everywhere using local transit. All the places we visited were easy enough to get to from our location. The Santa Monica Beach is just a short bus ride away by #1 Blue Bus where the tide ...

Our room had stains on the carpet and bedspread and there was a bad odor in the room. I requested a room change and was told the entire hotel had been completely renovated, including my room.
The hot tub wasn't working and the front desk staff was clueless about the location/driving directions of well known landmarks.
The location was good. We were close to all major points of interest.

This facility sits probably fifty feet from the busiest freeway in California. The people who work there are doing their best to provide good service, but it can't make up for the horrible location and broken amenities (hot tub didn't work, coffee maker didn't work, etc...) It's a lot of bucks for a cheap Hotel.
