Our room at this hotel was dirty, AC unit broken & leaking water.
We alerted staff & management & the problems were not addressed. We never received even an apology.
This is the worst hotel we have ever seen!

My husband and I recently stayed at this charming hotel and we both felt very comfortable and even spoiled by the staff and amenities. Everyone was super nice and helpful to us throughout our 3 night stay. Very close to the University of Notre Dame and many food places, very clean and quite high quality in the rooms. The hot breakfast buffet is outstanding, and we will definitely be staying here if we are in need of a hotel in th area again.

The front desk help was very rude not very nice at all. For paying as much as you pay for South Bend area; they should learn some respect.

The Inn looks very nice when you walk in and the people at the front desk I found to be very friendly. However, the room service isn't the best, there is no high speed connection in the rooms as they say, continental breakfast is good but nothing to die for and the location isn't the great. It is not a upscale hotel like the website says. Unless the midwest doesn't know what upscale is.

Very nice hotel located adjacent to Notre Dame & on Saint Mary's College Campus. This Hotel has it all! Great rooms, great breakfast, every thing you need!

The representation made by the hotel that it is "in the heart of South Bend" is not accurate. The center of South Bend is a mile or two to the south of this hotel. There are other hotels, such as the Holiday Inn and Marriott, that are located in what I would consider South Bend's downtown area. If you want to visit the University ...

I frequently travel for business and when in South Bend, I have found no better than the Inn at St. Mary's. This modern hotel is equipped with all the necessary tools any business person would need including FREE high speed internet. The rooms are clean and warm and decorated just right. Also, the full COMPLIMENTARY breakfast is a plus. I highly recommend the Inn.

The location was poor. I found it out of the business district with few connecting roads.Rooms were clean but average furnishings.Service left a lot to be desired not the freindliest of front desk personal.Still the value was average.
