After spending several thousands of dollars to visit Ireland, I would NOT use Temple Bar Hotel or recommend it ever again. The location is great, but getting to stay there is another problem. What we liked about the hotel was the convenient location, we were close to theatres, restaurants, clubs and pubs.
The service was good and the employees were friendly and helpful most of the time.
Rooms were comfortable.

This hotel is near all the action, which may not be a good thing for everyone. If you have a room facing the street, you are not going to get much sleep, as this is basically the equivilent of bourbon street in N'Orleans. The drinking generally does not stop until around 4, and the Irish get a little loud. You are within walking distence of ...

Was a nice, clean room with an accommodating staff. Was in the best area of Dublin for nightlife. Beds were a bit small as were the rooms. We had a room facing the busy Temple Bar streets, but it wasn't too loud. I recommend this hotel for those comfortable in European style accommodations.
