This place is wrong in many ways. Not only are the rooms old and smelly, The springs in the mattresses just about poke through. Forget about a good nights sleep. The day laborers who "live" in the cottages sit under your window all night (and most of the day) smoking and talking. The employees are aware of it but just roll their eyes.

Bathrooms were outside of the room, had mildew. Strange odor in small room. Employees disrespectful - I saw an elderly woman pursued by an employee for smoking outside, and he arm was grabbed and the cigarette seized from her hand and stomped on (the NO SMOKING signs were not obvious). She began to cry and ask for her family - the employee mocked ...

i wasnt pleased that there were no bathrooms in our already puny room. The people who worked there were also rude, they practically ignore you!

it was terrible place to stay the restroom is outside the room and too small you won't almost fit to get in, ventilation is very bad the smell of rooms are really very bad, all i can say is a not good place to stay or not recommended, worst ever.

they are adequate for what you need
its clean,cozy & well located..
Great for scuba divers that arent looking to spend much time in the rooms..

Be specific if you want a room with a shower & toilet ( some bungalos dont come with them)
but they have plenty of clean & cozy showers..
Not to mention there are public showers & ...

I like this hotel because I have always been able to book a room at reasonable rates. We spend very little time in the room except to sleep. This little gem doesn't offer a lot in the way of extras but is more than adequate for the price. We have met many people over the years since some rooms share a common bathroom. My family and I have happily spent many summers here. But don't expect lavish luxury.

The Hermosa Hotel was a very good deal. It was less than a ten minute walk to the beach, and was very close to restaurants and shopping. Although the rooms are slightly small they are work out just fine.
