My fiance and I were looking for a place where we can get married, as for the looks of the pictures, the place is beautiful... and the site states that it was a beautful place to have your wedding in. I called today and the person who answered the phone laughed and said, "we dont have wedding packages... I've never even heard of that here. ...

New Favorite Place!

This hotel (and others in the Pacifica chain) could not be better. It's quaint and picturesque with thoroughly modern amenities, steps away from the beach and extraordinarily fine dining. The breakfast included fresh-squoze juice and was excellent. Some rooms are pet-friendly. If you shop different sites or call them directly, rates are ...
Of course the location is wonderful, we stayed in the "Honeymoon Suite" where upon check-in we notified the front desk that this room and especially the walls were not clean and were met what amounted to a shrug. The accomodations did not justify the price. Too many choices to stay here again
My expectations were a bit higher than this place delivered. Upon check-in, they gave me a warm cookie and made such a big deal out of it like I was 8 years old - very odd. Room was a bit on the small side, and smelled like urine in one of the corners. When using the pool, they insist you use towels from the office, but there was no one to be ...

A Beautiful View
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/01/07
We just returned from our trip to the California coast. We arrived to Cambria and knew the choice spots to stay were on Moonstone Drive. We decided on Fog Catcher's Inn because they had a room with a kingsized bed facing the ocean. We were very pleased with the room. We opened our window and could hear the ocean waves which made for a wonderful ...

We had a wonderful experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/07/06
We had the most wonderful experience at the fog catcher.. from the moment we checked in withe Jenn to our last day there. we stayed in room 233, where we had a wonderful view and deck over looking the ocean. The breakfast was great and we cant wait to go back again! There is nothing we didnt like about this wonderful place and would recommend it to everyone!
The location was fabulous. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. However, the staff was unfriendly, at best, and downright rude when approached with the simplest of questions or requests. Wouldn't stay here again as there are plenty of other choices on Moonstone Beach Drive.

I wish I were back there now
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/14/06
04/07/06 - This was our third time staying at the Fog Catcher, and as always it was lovely. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and charming. You can not beat the fireplace in the room, ocean view directly across the street, well maintained pool and spa, cookies at 3:00pm and a great breakfast. The rooms are very reasonable priced and we will ...

Undistubed Beauty
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/13/06
We have stayed at the Fog Catcher many times, always returning due to its comfort, beauty, and lovely people. During the course of 10 years we have stayed at many of the places on Moonstone. We love the Fog Catcher and have had many of our friends stay here. They have always returned stating they loved it also.
