I came to town for a 2 day High school 25 year reunion weekend. One of my classmates and I shared a one bedroom suite and the location, atmosphere and amenities were just right. Yes the hotel is an older property but it's kept in good repair, no there are no cooking utensiles in the room;but if you ask the staff will point you to the supply ...

Home away from home
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/28/08
We stayed for four days in March 2008. We were able to access public transportation, the beach, restaurants, and stores within walking distance from the motel. We had kitchenettes in our rooms which made the Safeway store down the block very handy, and gave us a feeling of "home away from home" when we could cook up a meal or snack in ...

The central location is convenient for me as a business traveler between SFO, Walnut Creek and Palo Alto. The McService is everything you'd expect and less. Upon seeing the room number I immediately asked if there was another, before any of the other paperwork was done and the primate he, I mean, desk clerk, barked back "there aren't ...

I decided on this Inn based on location to Oakland airport, thought I'd give myself a treat with the lagoon suite. I was very disappointed. Nice pool, excellent service, great location. 10 minutes from Oakland Airport, overlooking a lagoon and across the street from the beach. Room was newish and came with kitchenette. The one problem: wi-fi that did not work.
A good place for a business traveler on an extended stay, or for families.

After getting the run around from several hotels I usually stay at I was happy to come across this hotel. They were very accomodating with my last minute reservation. The staff couldn't be nicer. They went out of there way to assist me with anythng I asked for. I have cancelled my reservations with my previous hotel and I am planning to stay ...
We,my husband and myself, enjoyed the quiet and beautiful view. It is close to shopping and dinning. A walk on the beach is a plus! Very tranquil.

Someone Canceled my reservation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/23/07
Have you ever found a place so delightful that even after reading the negatives you gave a try? That is what happened with the CR. I went there and had a very nice time, no cockroaches in sight. So I decided to come back again and upgraded my rooms to a lagoon view. Made the reservation over the phone through the hotel reservation line. Got my ...
