The Hotel Grand Pacific is in a very nice location. It is right next to the Parliament Building and the museum and across the street from the water.

it is the most beautiful place ever. it is a fun place to hang out relax and just enjoy your self. you will enjoy this place alot.

I arrived with a group but despite the fact that the hotel was pretty much sold out with some swimming competition. We were all treated as VIPs. FIVE STAR service right from check in to housekeeping and the restaurant staff. I personally have stayed in hotels around the world. Very few come close to the level of service we received.

We just visited the Grand Pacific Hotel in August 2006, and were very disappointed in our room accommodations. We were told the hotel was a 5 star hotel with all suite rooms, which they were not and in my opinion the hotel is more like a 4 star hotel. I was so impressed. The Grand Pacific in Victoria B.C. has the best service of any hotel I have ever visited. From the front desk, to the maids, to the doorman, and most especially to the Concierge service!
And ... the restaurants are moderately priced with excellent food, the rooms are big, clean, and quiet, the beds are very comfortable. The gym and pool are first rate. The hotel is perfectly located.

We chose to spend a couple days in Victoria over the thanksgiving holidays. The hotel choice was made because we wanted a place reasonably priced with atmosphere and closeness to the shopping district. The help given was excellent and unobtrusive. We had a good time.

We arrived late for check-in and they bumped us back for 2 hours. When we arrived at our room, the beds were messy and the room was very dusty. The television was broken and the food there was over-priced and horrible. The location was fun and provided much to do for children.
