Although the location is beautiful, albeit a bit far out of the town of Puerto Viejo, I would not stay here again. I was totally satisfied by the physical place, but found the owners unfriendly. We stayed a week and felt like we were bothering them even when we were ordering our inclusive breakfast. There were a lot of great places to stay in this part of Costa Rica for comparable prices, and I'd rather spend my money where I feel welcomed.

The place is third rate. The bathrooms are a disgrace and if you are not careful you will fall down the steps into the bathroom and hurt yourself. No hot water just the suicide heater over the shower head that keeps falling off.
