If you make reservations, make sure you do not let them charge your credit card until the day you leave, because if you have to leave early for any reason, they will not refund your money. I have never stayed at a motel, in my opinion, that is as dishonest as Family Inn in Townsend, TN. I will not recommend anyone to check in with a credit card.

We loved our trip to Townsend. The manger of this hotel and his wife was very nice and we will stay with them again. The room was clean and the cleaning staff was great. The thing was loved the most was the pool. The kids loved playing in it. And we could use it at anytime....If you going to the area. And you are looking for a place to stay. I would try this hotel out...

i love the family inn because it is very quite . the rooms are clean and the have plenty of towels.
the scienery is very pretty . i love to stay in townsend it is a very quaint town . the peope are so friendly they make you feel like you are part of the family.

there is no other place i would stay.

we checked in early in the morning around 8 am.the desk clerk was very helpful and accomadating.most motels will make you wait untill after 2pm to check in.our room was very nice with microwave and fridge.also new mattresses,our room was very clean,the housekeepers were great.we will definately be back.thank you for making our stay enjoyable .
