Everything from teh "State of the art Welcom CEnter" to the "Five Star rated Piacier" is a load of garbage! The staff is cool, arrogant, and respond to requests at a snails pace. Getting a cup of coffee in the moring with ssweet and low was a request that was too difficult to master. The room was dirty with fleas in the bed ...
I like the food, the room, the waiters and waitresses, I love the water, and the bottom glass boat, the kayac ride and the nights laying in one of the launch chairs, watching the wave in the water, I like the man with the guitar in the big boat. I want to go back again.

Time of my life!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/05/09
I was recently at the Grand Lido for the Ratdog Daze event. It was the time of my life! The staff was exceptional. They were so friendly and willing to do anything to make us happy. The food at the restaurants were excellent (roomservice meals could have been better). Our room was clean and spotless everyday. I'm shocked to hear anyone ...
My parents and I visited the Grand Lido Negril in mid-December of 2008. This resort is designed primarily for couples, so as a 20-year-old traveling with my parents over winter break, we probably have a slightly different perspective than most. All-Inclusive really does mean just that--practically everything is included, from Scuba Diving to ...
My wife and I went here on our honeymoon, they charged me for 7 nights even though we stayed 6, they made no effort to refund me and said there was nothing they cold do???? Very rude front desk staff, the in room dining food sucked, the deserts at the place are a waste, not one single item was good....they join two twin bed together to make a ...

Nude vs prude
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/25/07
We thought our room showed age until we visited next door at Hedo II. The place needs to be upgraded...no swim up bar, no ESPN (but three 24/7 soccer channels) and although the food was good, it was not nearly as good as we remembered 15 years ago (please get back the old pastry chef!). Service was the best anywhere and we heard that the wedding ...
This is my favourite all inclusive in Jamaica, can't count the amount of times I have been there. It's relaxing, comfortable, the staff wonderful the beach is breathtaking, the food is excellent. If I had to say one dislike about the hotel is the pool being so close to the main dinning area. It makes it a little uncomfortable to go to the pool whenever you want but then again there is the nude pool for brave souls lol.
Grand Lido is not even close to being 5 star! Our friends booked their wedding at GLN for September. Our travel agent gave it rave reviews. She said it was better than Sandals Negril. We had a wonderful time at Sandals in 2006, so we couldn't imagine it being better. GLN was a huge disappointment for the cost. Don't be fooled by the 24 ...

We had made all the rooms together and when we arrived it took 2 hours to get into our rooms and we ended up all over the place. Two of the rooms were oceanview on one side of the compound and two of the rooms ...
