My husband and I go every year between Christmas and New Years for a romantic getaway. They have fireplaces in most rooms, a great resturant, very nice people work there, great shopping near by and is very relaxing!

The Saybrook Inn Spa is overpriced and doesn't deliver what its treatments promise. A friend and I were there recently and felt we were not given what we paid for. The body "scrub" involved little more than a pat down with some creams and the facial was a rush job with no guidance from the beautician as to what she was doing as she slathered cream after cream on my face. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. They charge a lot of money for dirty rooms, dirty pool patio and rude staff.
