My husband and I travelled all over the world, and the is the first place we ever got a bad case of BED BUGS! I would not recommend this place to my ememy!
The staff was friendly, rooms clean & quiet with most ammenities; store stocked a bit of everything & had souveniers, 2 restaurants, "pub", 2 pools, both clean & well maintained. Grounds were very nice, and location is great! Restaurant kitchen is a bit slow & a bit pricey, and food was just okay-again, staff friendly. I'd definatly recommendit & I'd stay there again!

Horrible place, don't stay here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/29/08
The room was dirty-- pee on the toilet seat, dirty ring around the jacuzzi tub, smeared mirrors, dirty floors and countertop. After complaining we got moved to another room that was slightly better-- still dirty but no pee on the toilet or bath ring but had a mess around the coffee maker in addition to overall uncleanliness. When we asked for two ...

Worst place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/11/08
The room in general was dirty. The sink was clogged, the bathtub was dirty, the shower curtain was moldy, the bed sheets had some strange particles on them, the towels were very rough, and to make matters worse the upstairs neighbors were very loud (I supposed we got what we paid for). Also, the restaurant serves overcooked food and not at all tasty. I would never wish anyone the experience we had at that hotel.

Stay at Yosemite View instead
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/23/07
On our stay at Cedar lodge, we had to deal with surly staff, a poorly cleaned room, noisy fridge, no coffee maker, no hair dryer, and absolutely no early checkins, no exceptions.
For almost the same price, Yosemite View Lodge is up the road closer to the park entrance, bigger, cleaner, with none of these problems. That's where we go now when we can't stay inside the park.

Cedar Lodge Review...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/01/06
Our family stayed in Rm 220. A three bed family type unit with one bathroom, one sink, refridgerator, two TVs, and easy access.
No in-room coffee maker and the front TV did not have cable access like the bedroom TV did. Sorry kids, no kid-channels on cable for the trip!
About a 1/2 hr leisurely drive from YNP on SR 41. Not bad traffic wise ...

Charged for an exta day
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/11/05
The place was fine, liked the pools and spa, quiet and reasonably close to Yosemite. However they ended up overcharging us. They took the deposite twice and I am having trouble getting the money back. It has been 4 weeks now and still no money.

I left this place early!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/09/05
Dirty sheets and pillowcases!! Crumbs on the bedspread when we got into the room. Sink backed up on us. The in-room coffee pot was dirty, still had old dried coffee on the bottom.
Dining facilities: High prices--Low quality and over cooked food in both of their dining areas. Very unsanitary on how they handled the untensils, cups, and food.

Kind of pricey, but otherwise ok
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/15/04
We stayed there for four nights recently - we had a king bed room with jacuzzi. It's kind of pricey, but that's what you pay for the location, I guess. And it's out in the middle of nowhere, so there's not much choice for food and the two restaurants on site aren't exactly outstanding (but the food was still ok). We liked not ...
