After we came back from our cruise our bags were loaded into the shuttle. The driver apparently did not lock the door. One of our bags fell out, another couple had lost 2 bags - it is like pulling teeth with a very rude manager to get our bags claimed. He refuse to tell us who are they insured with, he was sarcastic and very accusing - as if we had something to do with the problem!! Stay away...

The rooms were great, clean and very comfy! The service from the entire staff from beginning to end was wonderful. We came the day before our cruise and the location (close to the pier)was perfect. They offered free shuttle service to a free harbor cruise, a quick trip to a drugstore, and to the pier the day of the cruise (and back after)!

The place needs renovating badly and the food is not very good. We did the park and sail and returned to find that our vehicle which was left with the valet, was broken into. The hotel is not going to make good on the loss. I would consider other local hotels.

Everything at the hotel was perfect. We were able to take care of everything involved with the move and relax before the drive to our new home. Thank you ...

quiet...room with a view of a bridge

Los Angeles harbor is not the most attractive Southern California landmark, but the Shearton's sound proof rooms offer a unique persepective of the traffic on the Vincent Thomas Bridge and comings and goings of countless crusie ships and cargo transports; this beehive of activity serves as backdrop for efficient, friendly, and centrally located hotel.
