The hotel is amazing. There is a pool and many activites you can do. I went with my family and it was very fun. I recommend staying in a suite if you go with a lot of people

I'll echo what a million people have already written about this place....they cater to hockey tournaments (there is a rink next door) & kids run roughshod with no regard for anyone else. Running, yelling in the halls until 3 A.M. knocking on people's doors for fun, playing frisbee in the halls, unsupervised in the pool area. Management ...

I love Waterville Valley and the Golden Eagle. We thought we wanted to go further North to Loon / Lincoln or Bretton Woods / Mt Washington, or even to North COnway, but it's just a two hour drive, the last 20 minutes is beuatiful wilderness and there are just no crowds at all.
