The hotel desk is unobtrusive. There is a 24-hour security officer for admittance to the room elevator and nightclub access. The desk clerk let us leave a credit card slip at the counter and go upstairs to inspect the luxiouriously modern room. The bed had Eygptian cotton & down-filled linens. The furniture was covered in real leather. There were ...

I give the Nine a Ten
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 12/21/04
What needs to be said about this chic Las Vegas casino that has not already been spread through the grapevine of the hip and cool? Well, that it actually provides the best balance in Vegas for a group of people some of who want to mix it up at the Ghost bar and others who want to gamble/watch sports. The crowds are ridiculous at times, and ...

By Charles R, 09/30/05
The Palms is a hip, trendy hotels/casino which caters to everone. You don't have to be young and rich to be welcome at the Palms. All are welcome and treated with respect by a friendly, caring staff. A fun place for one and all.

Get ready to party

Let's face it; you're not going there for the location. The Palms Casino Resort is the hotel where they filmed the Real World a few years ago. The hotel is adequate; nothing special. However you're within walking distance to Rain and the Ghost bar. In addition to the great night life, they also have a wonderful steakhouse called

Over-rated!
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 09/29/05
This site asks you to write 2-3 paragraphs for your review, I could write 2-3 pages on how over-rated this place is.
The customer service was the worst I have ever experienced in Las Vegas. I've stayed at Mirage, Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, and the Four Seasons and the customer service was increadible, it has to be in such a competitive ...

Won`t go back

Checked in went to room and it was very nice.Took a stroll and found casino small and cramped. Next went to check out the pool. Found it very small and closed for season. (1st week of Oct.? )Was never informed when we booked. Asst. manager at front desk said they had no control since pool, clubs and eateries are run by an outside Co.He told us we ...
The Palms was plain and simple. I don't have anything bad to say about it, but I also don't think it was spectacular. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the service was good. It was off the strip but it wasn't far...we taxied everywhere we went anyway so not a big deal.
Not only are the rooms roomy, very clean & comfy - the hotel itself has so much that you don't even have to leave if you don't want to! It's not on the "strip" but it's definately close enough if you want to hit the other bars. But The Palms has the Ghost Bar, Rain, N9NE Steakhouse and Skin Pool Lounge! They even have a ...

Not Worth Going Off-Strip
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 07/26/05
The Palms, Las Vegas is touted as the hip location for the young and jet-set. All anyone hears is how the young celebrities parade around and how well connected George Maloof (owner) is to celebirities. So, being a sucessful 23 y/old who travels to Vegas a number of times a year, I decided to check out the Palms.
The recommendation, don't ...

Unprofessional Staff

I could only laugh when I saw another post on Security at this place. I am in my 30's and they wouldn't let me sit by the pool on my last day there since my photo ID was in my room. The security guard yelled at me and was horrendous. I complained to their management(Andy Belmonti) who did nothing and is a complete joke. This place caters to ...
