I used to love this old hotel up until TONIGHT. Got a room on a bussiness trip to San Pedro SUla. Ive use the hotel many times before and everything was okl, besides the fact thats old. But today had to call front desk because the AC was not working. To make a long story short, they had to change my room three times and in all of the rooms the ...

two stars hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/08/09
Very Old , the carpet smell very bad, bath and room need an update.
I loved the huge decks on he 2nd floor the excellent view from any floor and the roof. The food and room service is amazingly cheap internet services are very good. The most important thing is the workers that work at the hotel. They greet your and consolidate the you very well they are the true definition of a 4.5 star hotel no matter what people say.

flat screen tvs!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/15/08
Perhaps our biggest surprise was finding a flat screen tv in our rooms!!Balconies that looked out onto central park and the cathedral, much more. I guess it sort of amazed us that our room rate was under 80 bucks and they have flat screens, oh well. A little dated in the building but the service was amongst the friendliest we've found in our travels down here.

Very Average
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/16/06
Even though the fornt desk personnel is great, the hotel is dated and showing it. The restaurant on the first floor as a very limited school cafeteria menu and the restanurant on the top floor has the most incovenient hours for traveles.
The hotel has one saving grace, is right in down town in front of the central park and the cathedral, which ...

This hotel is in the heart of town and you really experience the beat of San Pedro Sula. It is a historical hotel being the bery first high rise building in town years ago. the staff is extremely helpful and pleasent!! I loved my stay there and recomend it highly.
Great location, walk across the street to the park, historic church, and lots of shopping. Their scandia restaurant also has great milkshakes. This hotel has been around for a while but rooms are clean and great service, highly reccomended
