I just found out Roy now works at Wellington's pub and grill in James Street Parry Sound. Wellington's was already our favorite place to eat in Parry Sound, now they have chef Roy!

I have just had this verified. Chef Roy is no longer employed at Tapatoo. What a loss.
The food was the only draw to go there the last few years so now we'll have to find out where he is employed. Hope it's still in the Parry Sound area. If you find out where please post it here.

We Loved everything!
The staff are wonderful, very friendly, helpful and competent.
The service was paced perfectly.
They were very professional.
The rooms/dining room were absolutely spotless.

We spent four days at Tapatoo just as a little vacation. We went down to the front office and got our room keys, we were staying in a queen size suite. One thing that really grinded my gears was the fact we had to pay 15% gratuity on the service charges and another 5% on room charge.
