I really liked the location. Came up to Charlotte for an interview this past week for a intense interview with Bank of America. The hotel was so close to the office building, I didn't have to move my car. Some of the best restaurants are near hotel, although I could not afford to eat any of those.I was really happy about the rate. Maybe if I ...

Great Uptown Charlotte Location!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/30/09
This is a perfect location for just about everything going on in the city. The rooms are new, and spacious. The hotel is within walking distance to Epi-Center. I would return to this hotel again. Staff was very polite and accommodating.
Never again will i stay at this Marriott.Sheets were damp, costs $10.00 to park per night[for the price they could validate parking].No smoking motel. Avoid at all costs.Stay at Hampton Inn,at least their breakfast does'nt cost $9.99.....Never again..

My family and I went to Charlotte to see the Bobcats and stayed at the Courtyard for one night. The service was great and the hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. We stayed for one night and our price included buffet breakfast for three the next day and parking. I was impressed by this hotel, everything you needed was there just in case ...

Worst Beds Ever Encountered
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/19/07
I am currently staying in Room 203 for 3 nights. This room costs $200+ per night. I have stayed all over the world and been in some really awful rooms, but this hotel room has the absolute worst beds I've ever slept in. My 10 year old Serta at home with all its sags beats these. My children, who can normally sleep anywhere, end up tossing and ...

Location isn't Everything!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/28/07
While the hotel is situated within walking distance to most downtown attractions, I would never stay there again and I would certainly never recommend it to another. The service was terrible. The front desk imparticular, and "Irish", to be more exact. It is never nice to be made to feel like a burden by those you are essentially ...

Excellent!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/16/07
Just got back and I loved the place. Not exactly in the heart of the action, but not too far of a walk away. I also loved that it was only 4 floors on top of a garage. Gave it a real small feel but in a big hotel. Main problem I think is there should be a bigger discount in the garage for parking. $10 a day felt a bit steep. But the hotel was definitely great and I would stay there again.

We are going back in a few weeks, it is a great location, right in the middle of the action and the rates are not beatable by any comparable hotel!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/25/05
The location, the breakfast, the roof top pool, the rooms, the front desk staff all are amazing. The front desk clerk named Kim from NY was such a huge help finding a western union for us she was just great. We will always stay at this hotel when coming to the Charlotte area. We are in the process of buying a house in the area so we will be making many trips down.
Stayed here with my daughter for a visit to Johnson & Wales University. The location couldn't be better...EVERYTHING is right next door. There were at least 20 places to eat within 3 blocks. I love the fact that Starbucks was around the corner! The service and cleanliness were outstanding. The $10 parking fee for use of the hotel garage was ...
