The King Eider is just steps from the airport. The room we had was lovely and clean with a view out the back of the real Barrow, Alaska. Be ready to take your shoes off when you come into the hotel (so the floors are nice and clean). The sauna closes early so check the times.

This is an interesting place. It is the cleanest hotel in Barrow (because you can't wear your shoes into the hotel). The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, and very close to the airport.

The staff are more than friendly. Perhaps some of the cleanest hotel rooms you willever stay in. The "shoe removal at the door" policy is fabulous. (A fresh pair of slippers are offerered at the door).
