Compared to other Holiday Inn Expresses, this place is a dump. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, the room not dirty but not clean like other hotels in the chain (Victor, NY, for example)

We expected much better from a Holiday Inn Express. I no longer am sure what to expect from this chain, after my experience there.

I liked the staff and how well we were treated when we needed assistance (like extra pillows). We stay there about once a year but I've noticed that it seems to be considerably better managed this past year. Extremely clean, great breakfast, helpful staff etc.

This is a nice property in a good loaction.
The breakfast was pretty good also. Unfortunatly the staff is terrible. I was given an occupied room at check-in, I could not get towels from the staff and was just blown off. I reported this to the manager who seemed to be in a coma. Replace the staff here and this would be a nice property worth staying at.
