I really enjoyed having the kitchen area handy. Helped save costs on eating out, when I was able to cook on my own. Very quiet environment as well. I would gladly go again.

The object of a reservation is to hold the room for the client... this hotel has no idea how to do this. I will never stay at a Candlewood suites property because of this poor experience. If you plan on staying at this hotel and you make reservations confirm at least 5 times in advance.

The hotel was very nice & the staff was great. Not sure if I can get use to not having maid service everyday, but we managed during our 4 days stay.

I've stayed at the candlewood twice now and I will continue to use them when I travel. Their staff was not only friendly and helpful, they made us feel like family. Candlewood had an in hotel store which worked on an honor system which saved on trips out of the hotels. As a whole I found the hotel pleasing and functional. One thing I didn't like which kept it from being perfect is that without a credit card as a security deposit they made me put a $100 deposit down for the evening. I have never encountered that and found it very displeasing.

uncomfortable bed, bad service

This is a "no fuss suite" style hotel, which is to say that costs are minimized, the room does not have daily maid service, and it's clean, safe, and quiet. I personally vastly prefer this kind of lodging for business and personal travel to "high end" hotels that are in the business of providing opportunities to spend more money rather than satisfying basic lodging needs, but your tastes may well vary.
