We stayed at La Quinta the first time we went to Memphis together as a couple (we were engaged) and to go to Libertyland, and the concierge gave up a map and outlined the best route for us. When we turned back the bed to get in it, it appeared that it had not been changed since the last person checked out. There was a clear imprint of a body in the sheets. Housekeeping missed us the next day and we had to call the front desk for towels and coffee. After waiting an hour, we called back and he finally brought them up. The television didn't work properly. The only good thing I can say about it is that they have nice towels.

The hotel was overpriced for what you get. They advertise a pool, but I could pretty much do as much swimming in that tiny pool as I could in the dirty bathtub in the hotel room. That wouldn't be so bad if the manager made a greater attempt at courtesy to those inside of his hotel. I'll never go back to this one, and think twice before staying at any La Quinta. There are much better hotels available!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was large and had everything we could possible need in it, including a little refrigerator! We enjoyed the outdoor pool and jacuzzi too. Very nice breakfast in the lobby, with a waffle maker. It's in a very nice area in Memphis, close to shopping.

Quality of service and rooms was much better than the average La Quinta. Quite nice, actually. Only complaint is that there's just one elevator for the building, which can result in some waits, during peak times. Other than that, this was a great hotel that I'd be happy to stay at again.
