the window curtain had fallen. there was mold in the shower curtain. a used q tip was left there from the previous guest in the drawer. the bed was hard as a rock. there was dirt on pillows and smelled bad. the iron board was broken. it wouldn't stand up. breakfest and food wasn't good. the hotel smelled like mold.especially the water fountain. i wouldn't stay here again.

Stay Somewhere Else

Although this hotel is near the convention center there is no other reason to stay here. There is nothing else near this hotel except for liquor stores and run down buildings. There is one over priced mediocre restaurant on site, and you'll go broke paying for parking every night. In addition the hot tub was out of order when we stayed there. ...

Service is Extraordinary
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/31/07
I have traveled alot but never once had the service I experienced at the Rivercenter. With every question I had the staff was prompt on responding and solving any issues that came along (which were rare). The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in and the view of the city is the best that I have ever seen.
I arrived late due to ...

The worst night ever!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/14/06
We reserved two nights at this hotel to take our 18 month old daughter to see the fireworks on Labor Day. We paid extra money and we were guaranteed a riverview room with a fireworks view. I called in advance and confirmed this with the hotel manager. When we arrived we were told that there was not a fireworks view room available so we were ...

Bad Service Upon Arrival!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/02/06
I called two days in advance for two rooms, if not connecting at least close. Also gave my request for non smoking. The telephone employee was very nice and helpful. We almost stayed at the Embassy Suites but had always before had good service at the Marriotts. Upon check in at 3:45 PM, only one room was ready and by the time we got the second ...

Looking forward to going back in August 2005!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/03/05
I stayed here in 2004 for a convention. I was very pleased with the rooms, service, and especially the view. I also enjoyed the abiltity to park the car on Wednesday and not move it at all until we left on Friday. Everything we needed was within walking distance, or a boat ride.
This was a very nice hotel. The rates were a little high when we went in April, but it was worth the price, especially for the riverview rooms that overlook the Ohio and downtown Cincinnati beyond.
A great, choice for staying before and/or after a ball game in Cincinnati, as it's just a short walk over the bridge to the stadiums.

Great Views - Nice Place to Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/03/05
Nice place with terrific view across the river to downtown Cincinnati; food was very good in the restaurant, less so for our group events. I'd definitely return when in the area.
