If you are a history buff like myself, you can't help but appreciate the old East Berlin neighborhood this hotel sits in. Its a very nice place, though the mattresses could probably use replacing. Its very easy to access the rest of Berlin by car or train. The breakfast is the absolute finest I've had anywhere.

Excellent stay at this hotel in the summer of 2003. The location could be a little out of the way for some but the 24-7 public transport links to the city centre are excellent. Also it's location is ideal for anyone wanting to escape the city for a day by car (as we did).
