We stayed a a few plantation type houses while in Louisiana. We enjoyed this one because it was rather informal and casual and comfortable compared to the others. I felt like I had stepped back in time, it was like living at Tara for a day. Elsie, the house host was so nice and informative. She also makes an unbelievable Plantation
Breakfast which included eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, grits and homemade pancakes. Wow! Worth the trip and I drove 5 hours! Janet - Houston, TX
