Not so Bad...I was somewhat skeptical about staying at this hotel because of the reviews, but it wasnt bad after all! The front desk reps. were very nice and helpful and the room was nice and clean. The only neg. was that there was no breakfast and the pool wasnt open. The hotel was near every attraction on the riverwalk so we didnt have to drive at all... don't goArrived after 6 hour drive with 3 children--- room not ready. 4:45 PM--room still not ready. No place to even sit because lobby is full of people whose rooms weren't ready. Very disappointed.For what we paid, we thought the room would be a lot nicer. It's NOT on the riverwalk, there is NO guest laundry, the pool is TINY. The staff was not very pleasant(except for the person from housekeeping, she was the only one who was polite). Construction is going on..Room key didn't work.

The Hotel MimosaWe (2 girls 3 guys) stayed here during Fiestas 08. We had a wonderful experience at The Hotel Mimosa and even though its not on the riverwalk we did not mind the 10 min walk. Small hotel but nice.What I like most was the rooms. My stay was during the NBA playoffs. Thank goodness the room came with two flat screen TV's. The room was very spacious and clean. Check in was swift as was check out. Parking is a bit pricey and breakfast was adequate. The staff from front desk to security was very helpful and gracious. Not on the RiverwalkThe reservation was for four adults. There were towels and water bottles for two guests. When asked about more bottle water, I was told that they were out and that there was a limit of two bottles per room on the first night only. I also had to request towels for four people. Would come back if in San AntonioWas here for the SAS Global conference and the hotel is less that 10 minutes walking distance from the convention center. Hotel staff very friendly and offered good advise about dining in area. Had a single room with large bed and a sitting room. Room clean. Great Hotel for the price, near the heart of everything.This hotel is less than 3 minutes walk to the river walk. It is not on the river walk but my goodness it was so clean with each room having two HD TV and a refrigerator and microwave. Extremely clean and the staff was super. Fantastic LocationEven when it was the Holiday Inn Express, we found it to be the best hotel location. Walking distance from the Rivercenter Mall, the Alamo and other sites. The trolly picks you up just a few feet away from the hotel.

this is a no goIt is with in walking distance of the river walk. But so are many other hotels that are worth the extra $10-$20 differnce. The staff didn't seem to happy to be here, and there was a piece of cloth ( a throw blanket) as the main source to stay warm in my over plushed bed. The water tastes like it came straight from the river itself. They charge $6 to park when you can parknext door for $4 dollars a day....Hmmm you figure out where we parked.3 of 3 Yahoo!
