i really like this family friendly hotel: the rooms are clean, the food is free, the pool is cool and the hot tub is hot. cable tv, free wireless and computers avalible and in a quiet area of town.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel and it was awesome for a comfort inn. The room size was nice, the people were nice, and the place was clean. The pool looked dirty through the window but once we went inside we realized that the bottom of the pool is made out of a certain texture and what looked like sand at the bottom was actually textured cement and it was nice! I wont stay anywhere else in Fairbanks for my next trip!

My wife, three Grand Kids, and Myself stayed at this "Hotel" the weekend following Thanksgiving this year (2007)
What we found was far from what we had read about the cleanliness of the rooms and pool.
The carpet in our room was dirty, we found cleaning supplies bottles under the bed skirts (spray and wash) and an old, dirty sock!

The room was large, the pool was beautiful and the continetal breakfast was great. My sister and I enjoyed everything about our stay, the only thing that was strange was that the employees weren't that friendly. We were both born in Alaska and now reside in Washington. We know that the best things about Alaska, is its wilderness and friendly people. The hotel employees must not be true Alaskans.
