The rooms are good, the price was okay (although we heard people who came in after us being quoted a lower price). The staff were terrible, including the assistant manager who came across as a condescending jerk.

Our group was treated very poorly by the hotel staff. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. I will not stay at another Hyatt hotel ...

My wife and I were *extremely* happy with this place:
- great location for anything in the northern suburbs of Detroit
- really friendly and *competent* staff, whether at the front desk, room services, breakfast --- you name it --- professional, well-trained. By far better than anything we'd ever seen in the Detroit area.

Recently converted over to a Hyatt, the rooms are trendier and they now offer an evening reception meal on Wednesday as well as a buffet breakfast---yogurt, fresh fruit& juice, toast, bagels, cereal, oatmeal…They could improve this by offering eggs and bacon but otherwise the selection offered was fine and also very healthy. The staff was friendly. They suggested a wonderful Italian restaurant nearby. The room was clean. I would have liked access to a computer where I could have checked my emails and done "on-line boarding" with the airline. Instead, I had to have the front desk do it.
