This is like no other Best Western I have stayed in! The hotel was built and is decorated like a log cabin. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have had while traveling. Our room was decorated beautifully and included a fold out couch as well as an electric "wood burning" stove which heated our room nicely and added to the mountain ambience. The staff were friendly and accomadating. Look forward to another stay!
The room was reasonably clean. If you need something between 10 pm and 7 am you will only find a sign at the desk. We think our food poisoning was from their breakfast. And the last special touch is the microwave over the toilet.
The email response from management assumes that the customer shouldn't question them at all. It helped me decide to drop their rating from a 3 to a 1.
A unique and cozily charming lodge. The staff is always helpful and friendly. the rooms are large and comfortable with a rustic appeal. The rooms need to be updated to go with the high price. Mattresses are well used and lumpy. 4 of us stayed in a room and part of the room smelled bad. The breakfast was awful, unless you made waffles. Price to high for the amenities. And when the wind howles through the canyon at night....don't stay upstairs if you expect to sleep. No elevator.

I believe in customer service and respect for other people's interest in the safety of the family. The manager of this hotel refused to cancel the reservation dispite the fact we had concern for the road conditions. She did not care and was only about the money for the room. There is no concern for the patrons at the Best Western Hotel. So do ...
