I picked the hotel based on the prior reviews and am happy to say that they were correct. The bed is wonderful as are the rest of the accomodations. Good location to the harbour and restaurants. We stayed at the Sofitel for 9 nights and could not complain about anything - excellent standard of service and comfort. Rooms were EXCEPTIONAL. We enjoyed a meal at Tamarind restaurant. Breakfast was great. Staff were very helpful and pleasant and the position was convenient to everything. We will be returning to this Hotel - hopefully in the near future

As mentioned in the title, superb accomodation.

Casino is good for a few reasons, they still manually shuffle cards and the dealers are polite.

Don't have too good a time though or else you will be told you have had too much to drink and will be escorted to your room by a number of cronies, not for the party animals.
