My husband and myself are in our 40's. We first went to Sandos Playacar Aug 2008. We loved the place so much we went back Feb 2009 and already have our confirmation for our next trip there. The people that work at Sandos go out of their way to please you. They usually had a big smile and a greeting for us. I'm a firm believer you make ...

My wife and I went to Sandos Playacar in Sept.2008 we liked it so much we stayed for another 7 nights. The beach is world class, the room was nice and clean with a view of the pool and partial ocean view. The food was always good at the buffets, and the restaurants where excellent. The grounds are kept up very nice. We found the staff to be very ...
My fiance and his family stayed here about a year ago. We loved it! First time in Mexico, been there once since, best place to stay at! Playa is a very secluded beach, only people staying at the hotel can go. I think it is very comical that peopl have so much to complain about on here, trying to distract people from going there. It was a wonderful ...

Beware of Timeshare Scam!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/07/09
My husband and I were given our trip as a gift and we were so excited until we arrived. The place is like a zoo- very chaotic and the salespeople for the timeshare are so rude and steal a day of your trip. The whole resort is packed full of these people and it's a very bad vibe! The whole vacation was spent trying to escape this place. Food not ...
When we checked in, the front desk attendant was kind of grouchy, however, get past the front desk/front lobby and every other person we ran into was extremely pleasant. Study up on your Spanish before going - didn't know much, but wish I had known more. Our maid, Nelly, was AWESOME! She did a great job, everyday, and she was dealing with 2 ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/29/09
From the point of checkout we were faced with one disappointment after another. We were promised an oceanfront room and given a hacienda. After speaking up earnestly we were given an oceanview room which was better but not what was promised. BEWARE we were told they DO NOT rent oceanfront rooms! We were met with one deception after another till we ...

Avoid at "any" cost
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/16/09
My family and I checked in and checked out of the hotel on the same day.
I have never experienced a more inept, rude or insular management staff at any hotel. Hospitality is truly a word which is not spoken at this hotel.
My family and I visited the week of Thanksgiving 08. This was the most horrible experience I have had at an all inclusive resort.
1. Beware of the timeshare VULTURES. We were swarmed and lost a precious day of our vacation. We made multiple attempts to leave and were corralled back. They tease you with the good rooms - which must be the ...
