Train tracks next to hotel. Fright train goes by 4 times a night. Front desk person, not helpful. 1st room, no heat. 2nd room, on second floor, (I have a bad knee this is why I book ahead of time.) No elevator. Bolt lock on door did not work properly. It would stick and you have to work at it to get the door open again. Bathroom light flickered on and off, bedspreads old, stained, and burn marks. Stayed one night and left before our time.

Unprofessional manager!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/20/08
Sandra, the manager, was not willing to work with us. Our stay is connected with our wedding and it is very important we book promptly. Even though we tried over a month to get in contact with the hotel management, we were unsuccessfull and finally Sandra told us we should look for another hotel. I have no idea what the actual hotel is like, so I cannot recommend it, but I can say the experience just to try to book rooms was frustrating.

Worst hotel experience of my life.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/05/06
I stayed here because it had an indoor pool, but the water was freezing and the staff could care less. The night I arrived the water was freezing, so I asked the person at the front desk to be sure that it was at a reasonable temperature the following morning. The water was still freezing the following morning, and when I complained to the manager she said that they didn't advertize the pool as heated!

We love staying at the Comfort Inn in Katy. The staff are great, the rooms are very clean, and the mattresses are pillowtops and extremely comfortable. It is usually very quiet downstairs. Wish they had better coffee.
