Walked in without a reservation and asked what the price was... she asked what I'd like to pay! (on a Sunday nite). King size bed with 6 pillows!
Room was comfortable, quite, clean. In a nice area. Breakfast was not spectacular, but it was good. Staff was friendly.
Be aware there's no elevator in the back building, so if stairs are a problem make sure to mention that.

In the main part of the hotel, which is only two levels, there is not an elevator to use. As a person of age, this was hard on me coming and going up and down the two flights of stairs. Great location in relation to shopping. A good selection of nice places to eat right in the same parking lot. We travel to Lubbock several times a year and we choose the Ashmore. Nice size rooms, great rates, friendly people. Always clean and the beds are good too.

We stayed here for a wedding and did not have a single complaint. The rooms and hotel were spotless. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the workers were friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable and the suite was large and extremely nice. This was the nicest place I have stayed in several years. I didn't have time to try the pool.

As the manager in question on the night when the elevator incident occurred, I apologized profusely for the problems. His entire party was comped for the night. Since that confusion, measures have been put into place so that everyone knows how to deal with that situation should it ever arise again. Again, we were somewhat unprepared for it that night, it will never happen again, I have made sure of it.

The Ashmore was a very nice motel.

Clean, friendly and a great price. Highly recomend for families and business travelers. Close to mall and right off loop.
