I would not stay here another night to save my life. The service is terrible. They make you pay for the internet. The rooms are dirty. Did I mention that the service is TERRIBLE!?!

I really liked it, it had enormous rooms with private bathrooms. I would stay there again.

Very Funky, But good price and great location. The price has been raised to 75 dls a night.. I always stay there. The service is not that great, The front desk is usually rude. I find it part of the LA charm.

Two of my siblings and myself took a trip to Los Angeles for a fun week away. The Bevonshire was a great deal, at 80 bucks a night. We had three beds, so no one had to double up.

Without this person John (front desk) I would have called the Health Department on the Owner, when we asked to inspect the room, it was so filthy, I refuse to stay and the owner came up and want to charge in any way. How can I cancel reservation if we meant to stay there?

At first you get a bad feeling when the manager checks you in behind bulletproof windows. But the rooms are extremely large and clean, the manager is very pleasant once you get to know him, and the price cannot be beat.

We love the location (10 minute walk to
the Grove and Farmer's Market) and have
stayed at many places in the area. There's
no better value than the Bevonshire.

My daughter and I went to LA to see The Price is Right. We wanted to stay near the CBS studios. The Bevonshire is within walking distance. The motel is older and nothing fancy, but it is clean and comfortable. It is also within walking distance to The Farmers Market (great food) and a beautiful galaria type shopping center next to it.
If you're looking for a reasonable motel in this area The Bevonshire is a good option.

After reading many reviews I was a bit worried about this place but it was a million times better then I had expected. Very large room, many movie channels, nice pool. I was very surprised. Especially considering it was so close to the Grove, etc. Yes it could be a bit cleaner but I would recommend it because you wont find anything like this for a similar price. I would go there again.
