Serious Divers Don't Dive Beaches TCIThe reason I went to TCI was to dive. Other parts of the trip were of far less importance to me.
For convenience, Beaches is hard to beat. There's a sampling of almost everything you might want or need available. This is a great place for families with young (under 14) to stay. The service alone was worth the trip!I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Beaches resort in Turks and Caicos in May of 09, and I had heard some mixed things on the food there, but I believe they improved a lot because everything we had was fresh and tasted great! They even have cotton candy in the water-park! (As an adult, I think I got a little too excited over this.)

Travel Agent's Opnion or Resort StayAs stated in my other reviews, we make it a point to visit at least 6-10 all-inclusive properties each on an annual basis so that we have a good sense of the properties for our clients. We would go back!The resort itself was beautiful, very well maintained and clean. The pools were nice also, although there was a lot of plastic cups in the water as it does have swim up bars.

going bak next year love it!!!We were there for a week. From the time we go there tell the time we left. Everyone was very nice and friendly. They clean our room in the afternoon and at night they came back and turn our beds down and gave us clean towls again. We always haved what we needed. If we asked they did what ever they had to do to get it or do it.

Know what you're looking for and what you'll get!The friendly and helpful staff is the resort's greatest asset... and that's a great place to start (especially in the Caribbean). But let's talk value. This place ain't cheap: After a great staff, at an all inclusive resort you at least need great food ... and it's mediocre at best. Been there twice, going back again!After reading some of the other reviews about this great location, I had to put my 2 cents in. I have been extremely lucky to have been able to go to this resort twice in the last 4 years. Both times the people, food and resort itslef have been excellent. Great Vacation Get AwayBeaches Turks and Caicos was by far the best family vaation my family has ever been on. The service was great, food excellent, rooms average and activities amazing. Throughout the day, the staff was cleaning and catering to your every need. This resort is best for family's as there are many kids running around and couples may be frustrated by that.
