The location is perfect. Room is small but enough, nice and clean.

Our first trip to the city was an awesome experience. Our selection of this hotel was the perfect choice. Practically across the street from Madison Square Garden, and all the subway stations for everywhere you wanted to go.

The location is good, the room is so small and not that clean

The room was small--but it's NYC so that's what you get everywhere. Also, we weren't in it very long so it didn't bother us, we had asked for a room on the upper level because of the noise. It worked. The bar is rather dull wiht a bad wine list, but then, you have some of the best bars within blocks so who cares? The room was good for the price.

When we arrived to check in at 11, they told us to be back in an hour for our room....we came back and at 3:45 still had no room, and 5 o'clock tickets to a show. I liked this hotel because it has a great location, close by Penn Station, Madison Square Garden & Empire State building. Best of all, it was reasonably priced compared to other places. The rooms were on the small size but it's NYC so it was expected. It was pretty comfortable and a good value. It's perfect for students, travellers on a budget, and those who want to be centrally located in this big city.

Thought this was going to be a nice hotel but completely suprised when I arrived. From all the reviews I read this sounded like a 4 star Hotel. Very disappointing. Room was old and gross. No amenities. If you are looking for a place to drop your bag and stay out all night this will be perfect for you. If you like to relax in a nice room and enjoy a nice stay this is not the place for you!! Staff was rude and very unhelpful.

The room was clean, but it was like sleeping in a walk-in closet; and the bed and furniture needed to be replaced.
