This was the 3rd year that my son & I met and stayed at the Brookstone. We found the staff friendly & the room clean. Nice room for the money. We did not find any offensive odor.
This place had a bad smell after we walked through the lobby. The rooms were damp and smelled like the 70’s. The room was not clean. The doors use metal keys, which we found out opened other hotel room doors in our hallway- how unsafe is that. When we told the front desk, they said the manager was not around to help us out. But he biggest reason to not stay here is the bed bug bites
For the reasonable price I was prepared for the small not up-to-date room, but not a dirty non-functioning one. There was lint "hanging" from the wall heat/cooling system vent and cob webs in the corners on the celing. The main bathroom light was out and I did alert the owner immediately. We stayed two nights and it was never working. ...
EASY ACCESS FROM THE INTERSTATE AND EASY TO GET DOWN TOWN... FRIENDLY STAFF. SMALLER INDOOR POOL AND WHIRLPOOL AND FITNESS ROOM. OK CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST, WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE VARIETY OF FRUITS THOUGH.
Great price, nice clean rooms, great staff, good breakfast, and A HAPPY HOUR during the week!!! All this for under $65.00! A terriffic value for the business traveler, or family!
Great hotel with excellant AAA rates. Staff was exceptional and we couldn't ask for more. Rooms were clean, breakfast was wonderful. And believe it or not, they have guest happy hour during the week...yea!!
