My husband and I stayed in this resort for our wedding weekend and was very happy with it all. The rooms are spacious, being just the right size to not feel cramped like at most hotels. They were very clean also. I would recommend getting a king room instead of a double queen, for the king room has a kitchen sink and more cabinets (if those things ...
While it had been a while since I have visited the resort, I was there when it first opened and it would have rivaled any Ritz! It was amazing. The beauty was not just in the landscape but you could tell the people who worked there took pride in the resort and offered second to none service. The little details were so special! The ownership has ...
My boyfriend and I came out to Spring Green to go to Taliesin and The House on the Rock, and stayed at the House on the Rock Resort. We thought it was beautiful and a great value. For $150, you get a two room suite with a balcony and kitchenette. They also throw in tickets to the house on the rock attraction. The pool facilities and work out ...

My husband and I had reservation at the House On The Rock Inn and ended up at the Resort by mistake and decided to stay. We both loved the view, rooms and service. If you weren’t happy with something they were ready to change your accommodations in a minute. We are not golfers but we love the peace and quiet.
Breakfast was great! The ...

Worst "Resort" We've Ever Stayed In
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/24/07
For the price and the way it is advertised on the website as a nice resort, it should have bee MUCH nicer. I wish I would have read these reviews before we stayed there.
DISLIKED: 1. Front Desk Service- Not helpful or friendly. No knowledge of rooms or processes. Gave us our room number, but the key card was for a different room. Several ...

My finance and myself stayed here for 2 nights. I have been here many times before, but not in the past 2 years. We could have not been more disappointed. The room was dirty, wall paper pealing off the wall, lights burnt out in the bathroom. They've removed the king sized beds and replaced it with a queen and another queen in the living ...
In Sept. of 2006, we went up to American Players Theater to catch Romeo & Juliet with 3 other couples. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and were given a large clean room with a nice view of the golf course. It was a warm day and we had time to use the big outdoor pool before meeting our party at the APT. We had the whole pool to ourselves. ...
the resort was beautiful inside. my fiance and i stayed there for the weekend. The beds were so comfortable we actually took the sheets off to find the manufacturer tag so we could get one for at home!! everything was very nice except that they may want to try to plan giving out rooms a bit better. this was our first weekend away from our kids in 5 ...
The House on the Rock Resort is the perfect getaway. The resort is totally secluded away from traffic, noise, and distractions. Most suites have a great view of the golf course. The service is outstanding. You owe it to yourself to treat yourself to at least one weekend of elegance.
The resort has always been an excellent place to stay with unbelievably good food in their Grandview restaurant. The rooms need some updating though. The service was excellent, but seemed a little understaffed at times. We will definatly be going back. The setting was well worth it and the American Players Theatre just down the road is treasure, not to mention 27 holes of excellent golfing.
