We stay at Deerfield every summer and the pool, fishing pond, pavilion, tennis courts, volleyball court, basketball court, horseshoe pits and private decks are just about perfect! And by the way, every house has a washer and dryer and there are NO COINS REQUIRED.

It snowed very heavily the day we arrived..the staff put wood on our porch twice daily and we made a big fire in the fireplace it was so cozy the cabin was weel appointed and we all had a wonderful time. The bedrooms were spacious and several linens were provvided. we especially liked the jacuzzi.

Wow was I shocked when we went to the restaurant there. Very nice furnishings and decor and seemed very upscale for that area. Dont get me wrong...this would be my choice for a 2nd home being that the mountains is the best place on earth, but most places are quiant and kinda backwoodsy. Great food a little pricey but it was worth every penny !

I like what the other folks liked.....close to everything in Canaan Valley, friendly staff, delicious food in the restaurant, etc. The townhouse we stayed in was gorgeous. I love everything! It fun and so many friendly people. There is a country store next door which is owed by deerfield and it's the greatest place. It have everything you can think of and more. The people there are the nicest and they make you feel like you never want to leave but you sure want to come back.........gotto be there to get it!!

Nice pool, beautiful stocked fishing pond, bike rentals, roomy condos, tennis courts, mini golf, restaurants and more all in a relaxing, tranquil atmosphere. Great family getaway!

Appliances and furniture old. Bring your own DVD player and coins for the laundromat.

we have stayed at Deerfield for the last 3years, we are going again this christmas but snow looks extremely iffy!
We always have a real good time though.

We had a fantastic time! It is the only resort (we could find) in the area that had everything onsite. There were a number of "resorts" that were only brokers for rental homes. Deerfield has a ton of activities, fine dining (AMAZING!), a tavern, recreations rentals, pool, tennis, and fishing. They are smack dab in the middle of the Valley ...
