Horrible Customer Service-Lack of ProfessionalismI made a reservation via e-mail with this motel on August 13, 2009 for 2 nights in October, 2009 in order to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. My wife, who is 21 weeks pregnant had been suffering from awful morning sickness and we decided to cancel. Lovely inn, lovely stayI've stayed at the Maple Terrace numerous times for business but brought my husband along this time for a vacation. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms functional and spotless and the innkeepers are very helpful. It's located within walking distance of everything in Williamstown.1 of 1 Yahoo! BeautifulWe arrive after a very long drive unexpectedly; the owner was wonderful and most accommodating. He set us up for in a clean and bright room which my mother-in-law, being the most incriminating of all species on earth, really enjoyed being in. Its always nice to go home!There has been a friendly staff every time I've stayed at Maple terrace. My favorite thing is the pool that buts right up to the hills with horses in the pastures. The rooms have always been very clean. The neighbors are generally sleeping so that makes everything nice and quiet.OVERALLServiceCleanlinessLocationValue

We keep coming backWe found this place years ago when going to a New Year's Party in nearby Hancock. We have been coming back ever since at least once a year, usually in the fall. The fall is just so nice up here and the owners are very nice and accomodating. It is not pretenious, it's very casual and relaxing and beautiful. Decent place to spend a night in townWe stayed here for a night when passing through to Vermont. It is a basic motor lodge. Although our room had the basic necessities it was a bit on the older side (70's-ish?) a bit dark. The front desk had a nice little video library and we borrowed a movie to watch in the room.
